Senegal: The Moroccan ambassador received by the head of diplomacy

The Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mankeur Ndiaye, received the Moroccan ambassador, Hassan Naciri, indicates the kingdom’s chancellery in Dakar on the X platform.

The Moroccan diplomat transmitted the “congratulations” of King Mohammed VI to President-elect Bassirou Diomaye Faye, reports the Ndiaye ministry on the same social network. Mankeur Ndiaye was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs on March 9. He previously held the same position from 2012 to 2017, under the first term of current President Macky Sall.

As a reminder, on March 26, King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the elected president, Bassirou Diomaye Faye. The sovereign notably expressed his desire to work, alongside the new Senegalese president, “to diversify and strengthen our promising strategic partnership, in the service of our two youths and in favor of a united and prosperous Africa”.
