Strategic retreat in Bujumbura: Strengthening of Burundian diplomatic relations under the aegis of President Ndayishimiye and Mr. Shingiro Albert, with the participation of Amb. Ntahiraja Thérence.

Bujumbura (Palace Ntare Rushatsi), December 10, 2023 – In line with Burundi’s foreign policy, this period marks an important moment. On the sidelines of her vacation in Bujumbura, a fruitful exchange took place with Ms. Nisabwe Florence, director of Rise Shine House in Burundi, concerning partnership opportunities with foreign investors.

Since December 7, 2023, the highly appreciated Ambassador of Burundi to Belgium, Amb. Ntahiraja Thérence, participated in an exceptional retreat intended for heads of diplomatic and consular missions. This event, organized by Mr. Shingiro Albert, the excellent Burundian Minister of Foreign Affairs, was held under the high patronage of H.E. Ndayishimiye Evariste, Major General and President of Burundi, in the presence of the remarkable Ambassador of Burundi to Ethiopia, Mr. . Nyamitwe Willy.

On December 10, 2023, Amb. Ntahiraja Thérence expressed his great satisfaction with this unprecedented diplomatic retreat.

Diplomatically, Burundi takes on the role of a non-aligned country, positioning itself between GUAN [1] and BRICS+, representing the camp of the multipolar world or the Global South.
