The Tunisian Textile and Clothing Federation (FTTH) successfully concluded its annual congress which was held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at the El Mouradi Palace Sousse hotel.
This national FTTH congress is the flagship annual event for the textile and clothing sector in Tunisia, which brings together industry members, experts and key decision-makers each year to discuss the challenges and the future of the industry. textiles in Tunisia.
Under the theme “From wire to the future: building a sustainable, united, responsible and economically viable industry”, the 2023 FTTH congress is the first to be held since the advent of the pandemic. of COVID-19. This edition was marked by the participation of more than 600 present between business leaders in the sector, partners and guests of honor.
During this fruitful congress, the federation highlighted the state of play of the sector, the main achievements of the federation during the last 5 years, as well as its vision on the new orientations and measures to be taken for a sustainable growth of the Tunisian textile industry.
Several key economic personalities and nationally renowned experts also spoke on the key themes, focusing in particular on sustainability, competitiveness, and mechanisms for accessing financing. The participants dynamically debated these topics and exchanged their respective experiences, thus identifying initiatives aimed at strengthening the Tunisian textile industry in an international context in full technological and ecological transformation.
