She entered politics in 2015 by being elected regional opposition councilor of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes on the socialist list led by Jean-Jack Queyranne.

Unanimous tribute

Support of Emmanuel Macron from 2017, she was elected on the Renaissance list during the European elections two years later.

Ms. Trillet-Lenoir sat in Brussels and Strasbourg on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety.
