Exploring EU With Sainte Pazanne’s Olivier Brunet

Olivier Brunet intervened on May 24 of last year, at the request of the Pazen association the European Union and us. He then focused his speech on the responses given by the European Union to the war in Ukraine.

As part of European week, from May 2 to 8, Olivier Brunet, notably a member of the Team Europe Direct speaker network and lecturer at Nantes University, is once again offering a conference-debate on Europe. This year, I will suggest that participants take a step back, by asking ourselves about the strengths and weaknesses of the European project, over time. We will travel through history, placing ourselves first after the Second World War, to ask ourselves to what extent the European Union has been able to defend the values of peace and democracy, over the past eighty years , develops the one who worked for 25 years at the European Commission. Finally, what do we expect from the European project for us and the generation that will follow us? will be the question posed at the heart of the debate.
